Perfect, just what I was looking for. Got to cut an extra 7 placemats to go under my cloth placemats and the tablepad covers my 52" x 78" table with a few inches over on each end. Very pleased.

This quilted table pad is exactly the product I was hoping to find to protect my very large mango wood table from Crate & Barrel. The soft, protective underside is kind to the wood's finish, and the vinyl top surface protects the table from warm things and liquid spills. The size is very generous, and the pad can be trimmed very easily. I was a bit skeptical when I saw this product for a very reasonable price, but I'm a believer now. Buying from Chef's Catalog was absolutely painless as well. I'm 100% satisfied with this table pad and recommend it highly!

This pad is definitely better quality than the Walmart type pads but has no washing instructions included. This leads me to believe that you are only supposed to surface wipe it. Decent table pads are hard to find so I am keeping it anyway and hoping for no major red wine spill.

I have a black wooden dining room table in a size that is not easily found. I have it covered with a very fine, see-through beautiful tablecloth that I would not give up for anything. But there is no padding between the fine tablecloth and the table! It slips all over the table whenever you sit at it. It just wasn't right. This table pad is just the right thickness; cutting it to size was a breeze, and although it it white, you can see no difference in the color of my tablecloth. The tablecloth now stays where it is meant to be, and the table underneath is protected. All this for a very decent price. Plus I have so much left over, I'm planning on putting it underneath my printer, which sits on a bare wooden table. I have used it under the runners on my coffee table and cedar chest, and they don't need to be straighted every time you pass by them or put something on them. A great buy and very useful.
