Product Description Have you ever eaten the top of the muffin and thrown the rest away? Muffin crowns are indeed the best part, so why not invent a pan that practically elimates the bottoms? Far less wasteful, no more guilt, lots of yummy muffin. Featured in Cook's Illustrated Resources September/October 2002 If you favor the crusty, browned top of the muffin over the delicate, crumbly bottom, a muffin-top pan might be for you. Almost flat, each of the pan's six muffin cups is jut 1/2 inch deep, yielding flying-saucer shaped muffins that are virtually all crispy brown top. Our favorite pan is made by Chicago Metallic..."

Store bought muffin tops? NEVER AGAIN! July 27, 2010 Jennifer My pans and VitaMuffin mix arrived this morning, and being the impatient type, I immediately baked a batch! they turned out amazing, and I was rather surprised at how easy the muffin tops just slid right out of the pan! They were the perfect size and texture with a quick 22min bake time at 325. If you like to bake, you need these pans!
Nice pans for muffin tops! July 7, 2010 Deborah K. Anderson (Rockton, IL USA) I bought 2 of these heavy duty pans & the muffins slide right out & the pans clean up easily, too. You could also use them for buns, rolls, biscuits, short cakes, fat cookies, etc.
Muffie Tops Pan June 14, 2010 Just a Mom (NJ, USA) Pan quality was sturdier than I expected. Only wish bottom was rounded, so muffins would be domed on both sides. I just need to find some good recipes that suit the pan size, without leftover mix. Overall very happy with it.
Great pan, at a good price... June 2, 2010 Cookbook Collector (Clinton, TN USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have used this pan twice to make gluten-free hamburger buns for my daughter. It makes the six good buns perfectly from bread mix for a single loaf of bread. I freeze the leftover buns and toast them later.
My daughter will enjoy our cookouts more this summmer now that she won't be wrestling with lettuce leaves!
A perfect pan at a good price. Now, if this company would make a reasonably priiced hot dog bun pan...
Muffin top pans May 15, 2010 Katherine Safai
I was very happy with my purchase. The pans are sturdy and worked very well. As other people have mentioned, you have to adjust the recipes if you are using a box mix for length of baking time and temperature. My first attempt came out well except I think I overfilled the cups and my muffin tops were a little bigger than I wanted them to be.But if you like muffin tops, these pans give good results.
