These are beautiful, vibrant placements, that look fantastic with your Fiestaware, whatever color you have. However, Amazon states that they are machine washable and the manufacturer label directions say to spot clean only. Well, I only have table linens that I can wash, so when they became soiled I washed them anyway. They shrink, and the color fades. After two washings, they are pretty faded. I would consider these placements disposable, or for one season use only, and look around for some that are washable and/or wipe off. I wish that Fiesta would make some that are wipe-off vinyl for everyday use. I would definitely buy those.
